SeaCow Eatery

The Sea Cow offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week, starting at 7:00 a.m. The breakfast menu includes omelets, biscuits, French Toast, and more. The SeaCow’s lunch menu features delicious sandwiches, salads, and seafood platters. We highly recommend the fried shrimp and oyster platter with a side of grits.
Dinner is served until 8 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday from March through December. Try the Crab Cakes, Grilled Mahi, or Hawaiian Chicken.
FYI: A SeaCow is another name for a Manatee! Visit The SeaCow Eatery’s website. Indoor, screen porch, and patio seating available.
McConkey’s Jungle Shack

McConkey’s Jungle Shack is open for lunch and dinner. Seating is available inside their screened porch or on the covered patio outside. McConkey’s also features an outdoor bar.
McConkey’s Jungle Shack’s menu includes seafood baskets, burgers, loaded chili dogs, and other sandwiches. The chicken wings at McConkey’s are excellent. We recommend the shrimp basket or wings. McConkey’s meals come alongside house-made potato chips. Other sides are available. Visit McConkey’s Jungle Shack’s Website.
Coot’s Bar and Grill

Coot’s Bar and Grill is located right on the beach! Their deck extends out over the water and offers beautiful views of the Ocean, Edisto Beach, and Edisto State Park. The view from the dining room is great, too. Coot’s Bar and Grill is an excellent place to escape the sun and enjoy a drink.
The menu at Coot’s Bar and Grill is mainly traditional bar fare, including burgers, wings, pizza, and seafood baskets. The beer-batter onion rings are delicious. Coot’s also offers a veggie burger and salads.
FYI: Coot’s is located in the same building as the Pavilion Beach Store, where you can purchase Edisto Beach t-shirts, hats, sundries, and more. Also, a Coot is another name for a species of shorebird. Visit Coot’s Bar and Grill’s website.
Pros and Cons

A restaurant that is a little more country-club casual is Pros and Cons, located inside The Wyndham Resort near the Plantation Course Pro Shop. The atmosphere at Pros and Cons is a little more upscale, but still has a laid-back beach vibe.
We recommend the shrimp tacos, flounder sandwich, or one of their excellent hot dogs. Also, the lunch dining room is called the “19th Hole.”
For dinner, try the Edisto Shrimp Cake, New Bedford Scallops, or Brasstown Ribeye. The dinner menu focuses more on fine dining. Visit the Pros and Cons website.

Flowers Seafood

Try Flowers Seafood; they have a seafood market and a food truck that features fresh, local seafood—a favorite among locals and visitors. Enjoy any of the delicious seafood offered by Flower’s food truck. The food truck is open for lunch and dinner on the weekends. Limited outdoor seating is offered, or you can take your meal to go.
Visit Flowers Seafood’s website for prices, availability, and information when the food truck is open. Try the deep-fried soft-shell crab when they are in season (Spring). Although Flowers Seafood is located a few miles from the beach, it’s worth stopping by for a visit. Expect a casual and laid-back atmosphere.
