Boathouse at Breach Inlet

Try the Boathouse at Breach Inlet with its terrific views of Breach Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean. The Boathouse offers traditional favorites for starters like Fried Green Tomatoes, Sweet Corn Hush Puppies, and Fried Okra. Entrees include Seafood Alfredo, Steak and Crab Cakes, and Pan Roasted Scallops.

Coconut Joe’s Beach Grill
Coconut Joe’s offers excellent views of the beach and Atlantic Ocean. Try Coconut Joe’s Famous Coconut Shrimp, Fried Pickles, or Grouper Bites for a starter. Entrees include Blackened Mahi Mahi, Jumbo Crab Cakes, Ribeye Steaks, and more.

Acme Lowcountry Kitchen
Another local favorite is the Acme Lowcountry Kitchen located just a block off the Front Beach. Acme Low Country Kitchen’s starters include delicious items like Chilled Crab Dip, Gouda Grits Fries, and Oysters Rockefeller. Entrees include favorites Braised Short Ribs, Blackened Swordfish, and Seafood Pasta.

Islander 71 Fish House and Deck Bar

Islander 71 Fish House and Deck Bar is located at the end of 41st Street and has incredible views of the Intracoastal Waterway, Morgan Creek, and the IOP Marina. Islander 71 is sometimes referred to as the IOP Marina restaurant. Starters include She Crab Fries, Baked Crab Dip Skillet, and Tuna Poke.

The Boathouse on Breach Inlet offers Hamlin Creek, Breach Inlet, and The Atlantic Ocean views. Both the Windjammer and Coconut Joe’s are on are situated right on the beach with excellent views of the Ocean.
Islander 71 is located at the Isle of Palms Marina and offers views of the Intracoastal Waterway and Morgan Creek. The Boathouse on Breach Inlet, Coconut Joe’s, and Islander 71 feature rooftop dining. The Windjammer has a large deck overlooking the beach.

Another long time favorite among locals and vacationers is Long Island Café located in The Island Center. Long Island Café offers traditional seafood favorites, like She Crab Soup, Crispy Calamari, and Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes.

Bars on Isle of Palms

The World Famous Windjammer is just a short walk away from any of the Front Beach restaurants. During the Summer, and throughout the year, there is something going on at The Windjammer. There is live music on the indoor and outdoor concert stages. Check their website for upcoming concert dates and times. Also, the Windjammer features beach volleyball courts. The Windjammer is open year round.
Most restaurants on the Isle of Palms offer a small bar where you can enjoy a drink before or after dinner. The Windjammer is the only large bar on the Island. Food is also available at the Windjammer.
Sullivan’s Island Restaurants
Sullivan’s Island, just across Breach Inlet from IOP, is home to many great restaurants. These restaurants are all within a couple of blocks of one another.
Poe’s Tavern is a favorite spot for locals and vacationers alike. Poe’s décor is inspired by the author, Edgar Allen Poe, who was once stationed at Ft. Moultrie. Awesome BBQ can be found at Home Team BBQ and Mex1 Coastal Cantina offers traditional Mexican fare. The Obstinate Daughter offers Italian, French, and Spanish cuisine.
